I’m ready to rent a space, how do I get started?
When you’re ready to get started, give us a call or reserve a space via our website. You can also come to our facility to rent a space using our kiosk. It’s available to you 24/7.
How do I know what unit size I need?
If you ever ned help with finding the perfect unit size, give us a call and we can help you out or you can use our storage calculator. It's easy to use, just add in your items and you'll have an accurate answer within seconds.
How do I pay for my unit?
550 Storage accepts credit/debit cards. You can select your form of payment through your 550 Storage account. Once your payment is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
Do you have tenant insurance and if so how do I view coverage options?
No, we do not offer tenant renters insurance. You are required to purchase tenant renters insurance on your own. Many homeowner’s insurance policies protect your belongings in storage so you should start by checking with them.
Please keep in mind that although we take necessary steps to ensure that this facility is clean, maintained and has quarterly pest control, ultimately it is your responsibility, as a tenant, to ensure that your items are protected and stored correctly. There are several ways to prevent damage when storing your items such as applying protective mattress/furniture bags for storage & moving, elevating your items so that your items are not directly on the storage floor, properly securing/wrapping your items, as to avoid possible pest infiltration. To further assist with pest control, we included in our rental agreement that there are ABSOLUTELY NO PERISHABLES ALLOWED.
When can I access my storage?
All of our renters should have access to their units whenever they want, that’s why we offer everyone who rents with us 24 hour access to their storage. Stop by whenever you need.
Are your units drive-up accessible?
Yes. Drive-up access makes it easier on you to get started storing. Just pull up and start unloading your stuff from your vehicle.
My storage unit door won't open. What can I do?
This may occur if your account has an overdue balance. You can check your ledger via your online 550 Storage account. If there is an overdue balance, then please make a payment online or from our kiosk and try again. If there is not an overdue balance, then please call us and we will assist immediately.
How secure is the 550 Storage facility?
Our facility is one of the most secure places you can find in the Colorado area. Our entire property is being monitored with our HD security cameras. Our units are well-lit and if you ever want to stop by to check on your stuff, come by 24/7.
